Die Klassifizierung geografischen Ursprungs kann entweder eine ganze geografische Region, im Falle Nordgriechenlands sind das die Regionen Epirus, Makedonien und Thrakien, oder kleinere Gegenden bedeuten. Die Weinerzeuger des Verbandes Wines of North Greece produzieren Weine mit verschiedenen PGI-Bezeichnungen, basierend auf dem Gebiet, aus dem sie stammen.<\/p>\n
