he Zin Ideos estate was established in 2005 at Loutraki of Almopia, an area with a very long viticultural tradition in the past, which was lost over the years.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Being a pioneer for the region, our goal is to re-explore and highlight viticultural potential of the area. Our vineyard consists of three different carefully selected locations, ideal for the cultivation of the chosen varieties.<\/p>\n

Today there are two facilities open to the public(Loutraki, Nelomylos), who offer the opportunity to experience the vision of the Zin Ideos winery.<\/p>\n

Zin Ideos estate is located 110 km northwest of Thessaloniki, in the village of Loutraki in the municipality of Almopia, a stone’s throw from the Pozar thermal baths.<\/p>\n

One of the goals of the estate is to explore the possibilities and to highlight the different approaches to viticulture and vinification of the local white variety Amassi or Opsimo Edessis and the creation of the corresponding PGI.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″ css=”.vc_custom_1627465624356{padding-top: 10% !important;padding-right: 10% !important;padding-bottom: 10% !important;padding-left: 10% !important;background-color: #ffffff !important;}”]

\n\t\tVINEYARD<\/span>\n\t\t<\/h6>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text]We cultivate our vineyards in three different vineyards in the region of Almopia. The choice was made after studying the different characteristics and microclimate of each of the three locations.<\/p>\n

Our vineyard consists of Greek varieties mainly (Xinomavro, Mavrotragano, Malagouzia, Assyrtiko, Ammasi) but also some international ones (Syrah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc), that have shown excellent acclimatization to the environment of Almopia.<\/p>\n

Cold winters and low night temperatures, the amount of rainfall and sunshine during the year, lead to a long period of aromatic and phenolic ripeness of the grapes.<\/p>\n
