Our favorite wine tourism event in Northern Greece!
The “Winemakers of North Greece” celebrate spring and invite everyone who loves premium Greek wine to “Open Doors 2026,” a two-day event filled with beloved wines, discoveries, and authentic hospitality.
On Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, the wineries – members of the “Wine Roads of North Greece” invite wine lovers and curious explorers to explore their wineries and wines.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy guided tours and tastings, as well as a rich program with a variety of activities and events, such as musical performances, masterclasses, wine-tasting walks, creative activities for children, a photography contest, gifts and much more.
Plan your own wine journey among the 28 wineries on the 8 Wine Roads of North Greece, enjoying the beauty of the northern greek vineyards, living unforgettable wine experiences.

The general opening hours for most wineries are 11:00–19:00, unless otherwise noted.

Common activities across the wineries-members of the Wine Roads of North Greece are the following:
- Photography contest titled “Capture the essence of May in a glass”, with 5 winners (each receiving 3 bottles of wine) selected from photos posted on Facebook and/or Instagram over the Open Doors weekend, taken at any of the Wine Roads of North Greece wineries.
- Wine gift raffle – “28 Wineries, 28 Winners!” Visitors to the participating wineries can enter a draw to win one of 28 bottles of wine (one bottle per lucky winner).
“Open Doors” was first held in May 2004 at the wineries of the wine tourism network ¨Wine Roads of North Greece¨. The public embraced the event with such enthusiasm that, by 2010, it had grown into a nationwide wine celebration with the participation of winemaking associations from across the country.
