On Wednesday, June 18th, we will be participating with 15 absolutely stunning rosé wines from the member wineries of the “Winemakers of North Greece” association at the “Drink Pink Wednesday” event, organized by Elizabeth Gabay MW and Ben Bernheim, at the “Crypt on the Green” in London, UK.
Join us to explore how North Greece’s diverse landscapes — shaped by imposing mountains, shimmering lakes, and dramatic changes in elevation from highlands to lowland plains — proudly produce some of the country’s most exciting premium rosé wines.
Effi Tsournava DipWSET, born and bred in Thessaloniki, is thrilled to guide you through 15 of our rosé wines, crafted from five indigenous grape varieties — Xinomavro, Agiorgitiko, Vlahiko, Bekari, and Debina — as well as internationally planted ones, such as Gewürztraminer, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Grenache.
Alexandra Anthidou, director of the “Winemakers of North Greece” association, will be flying in from Thessaloniki especially for the event to share the success story of North Greece’s rosé wines and the rich diversity of its vineyards.
