World Wine Tourism Day 2024
On Sunday 10 of November, we celebrate the World Wine Tourism Day at the “Wine Roads of North Greece”!
The members of our association “Winemakers of North Greece”, participate in the celebration of the “World Wine Tourism Day” and invite you for wine tours and wine tastings.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the wine regions, meet Greek wine producers, enjoy the view in the beautiful vineyards, have a tour at the production, maturation and ageing areas, taste new and aged vintages, and learn about the fresh wines of this year’s harvest.
The Wine Tourism Day was established in 2009 as European Wine Tourism Day, and is celebrated every year on the second Sunday of November. Since 2019, it is celebrated worldwide and now most of the wineries in Greece, especially those of the regional winery associations, take the opportunity to welcome the public in a festive atmosphere.
The World Wine Tourism Day is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the magical world of wine, to learn about the process of wine production and to taste excellent Branded Greek Wines.
