On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, The Wine Hub in Thessaloniki opens its doors for the “Gold Tasting – Best of the Best 2026”, a premier event dedicated to the award-winning wines and spirits of the Thessaloniki Wine & Spirits Trophy 2026, Greece’s leading wine and spirits competition.
Join us for an open, walk-around tasting experience, where you’ll explore a curated selection of labels that captured the attention of an esteemed international jury. These exceptional wines and spirits stood out for their quality, character, and expression of origin—and now it’s your turn to discover them.
Taste the best of Greece and Cyprus have to offer this year: meet the producers behind the bottles and uncover your own favorites among the champions of 2026.
From the Best Wine of the Competition to the best in white, rosé, sweet, sparkling and retsina, this special tasting brings together the standout entries of the year. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore wines special awarded in single-varietal expressions of native Greek and Cypriot grapes—such as Xinomavro, Assyrtiko, Malagousia, Xinisteri, Agiorgitiko, and Moschofilero.
And of course, the event would not be complete without the country’s finest spirits: taste the Best Spirit of the Competition, as well as the top-rated Ouzo.
