International Xinomavro Day 2024
The Association “Winemakers of Northern Greece” invites you to take part in two unique events in Athens and Thessaloniki, dedicated to Xinomavro!
Through specialized presentations and tastings you will have the opportunity to discover all the versions of this multi-dimensional variety of northern Greece.
Masterclass in Athens: “Aspects of Xinomavro” with Master Sommelier Eleftherios Hanialidis
In the heart of Athens, at the Divani Caravel Hotel, Master Sommelier Eleftherios Hanialidis will present a unique masterclass, in which he will analyze the 15 different wines of Xinomavro, in order to get to know in depth the expressions of this variety. After the masterclass, an open wine tasting will follow, where the public will be able to discover even more versions of Xinomavro.
Thessaloniki: Wine Tasting at The Wine Hub
In Thessaloniki, at “The Wine Hub”, the headquarters of our association “Winemakers of North Greece”, we are organizing a series of tastings dedicated to Xinomavro. In three different streams, participants will have the opportunity to discover the different expressions of the variety through 3 different flights. Each tasting is designed to highlight the special characteristics of Xinomavro and deepen the knowledge of the variety.
