VorOina in Thessaloniki – Makedonia Palace

The favourite wine event of Thessaloniki, with the excellent wines and spirits of the “Winemakers of North Greece” will take place this year on Monday, October 7th, from 13:00-21:00, at Makedonia Palace Hotel.

VorOina is the annual wine tasting exhibition of the leading wineries of the Northern Greece vineyard, which is addressed to the general public, consumers and professionals.

By entering the exhibiton, visitors will receive their wine tasting glass, in order to discover and taste the wealth of Northern Greece’s vineyards, from both indigenous and international varieties.

White, rosé, red, even orange wines, dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet or sweet, calm and sparkling, in newly released or older favorite labels, are just the beginning to enter the magical world of quality branded Greek wine.

What’s more, at the winemakers’ tables you can find experimental wines, old vintages, different bottle sizes and much more.

Side Events Programme 

As every year, VorOina will be accompanied by a rich and very interesting programme of side events such as: Convention, Masterclass, various presentations and thematic tables for even more wine pleasure.

The side events are free of charge and you can join with the general VorOina ticket (except of the masterclass).

You can buy your ticket for the Voroina event:

  1. via more.com by Viva platform, until the day of the event (7/10/24) at 20:30, at the following link: https://www.more.com/happenings/voroina-thessalonikis-2024/
  2. at the secretariat of the event at Makedonia Palace Hotel, from 12:30 to 20:30.

The ticket price is 12€, while for students it is 8€ (by showing your student pass at the entrance to the event).

The ticket price includes the special wine tasting glass.

Entrance is free for professionals, as well as for journalists (with the indication of their business card), who will receive a distinctive bracelet at the entrance.

The “VorOina” event is organized by the office of the association “Winemakers of North Greece”, for the exclusive participation of its members.
